Installation Process

Installing the Excel Audit Commander is a fairly simple, straightforward process, especially if the defaults are selected. A typical installation will be completed in a few minutes or less.

The 10 installation steps, along with screen graphics are shown below.

Note: If you have an older (server) version of the XL Audit Commander Software installed, uninstall it first by double clicking on the SetupAddin.xls and selecting uninstall. However, if you are only upgrading to a more recent version of the desktop version, this is not necessary.

Step 1 - Download the setup.exe file, save it to the desktop or elsewhere.

Step 2 - Double-click the Setup.exe to start the installation process.

Step 3 - Select an installation location (if other than the default)

Step 4 - Pause before installing

Step 5 - Read Installation information

Step 6 - Final Step - Install the Addin

Step 7 - Click on the Setup Button

Step 8 - Click proceed to copy the add-in

Step 9 - Final Installation message

Step 10 - Close the installation process, open any Excel spreadsheet, press Control-E and begin!
