Extract all payroll checks where the gross amount exceeds set amount

Step 1

Data Extraction

Using the main form, select the extract function in order to isolate the records of interest. The extraction criteria are entered on the line labeled 'Criteria'. The data extraction process is very powerful and there are numerous methods and options available to isolate just the records of interest. If only totals are needed, then the extraction summarization can be performed as part of the statistics process.

There is a complete description of the procedure available for viewing.

Output from the process will be only available in two formats:

1. As a an extract in a file
2. As a summary line description on the status bar.

The extract data may be loaded into Excel for for further analysis or sorting.

Also, the extract file may itself be further analyzed using any of the available analytical functions.
